Hun Many: SEA Games Ushered in a New Era for Cambodia

PHNOM PENH: President of the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia, Hun Many, said that the spirit of wonder guided the host of the 32nd SEA Games, making history and ushering in a glorious era of potential for Cambodia.

In a social media post on May 18, Hun Many said that the opening and closing ceremonies of the SEA Games confirmed to the world that Cambodia is a successful and worthy host of the regional games. He said that Cambodia is very proud of the beautiful and vibrant scenery imbued with deep meaning, and that the people of Cambodia and around the world recognize the arts and spectacle of the ceremonies, which made the hearts of the Cambodian people beat in one rhythm: full of love, excitement, smiles and pride at the same time.

He went on to commend the teams, teachers, performers, artists, athletes, students, youth, technical team and all those who worked hard and gave their all to the motherland in both in the opening and closing ceremonies and the accompanying events of the 32nd Southeast Asian Games.

Hun Many emphasized that "all these aspects are important factors that could not be omitted, [the participants are] the main factor that lead to this extremely successful international sporting event.”
